Dr. Hooks' Vision
The Lula McGrady Foundation, Inc. (TLMF) was founded by Dr. Dorothy E. Hooks,who is the CEO, because of her desire to see people set free and delivered out of their bondages; especially women of domestic violence and the homeless. God has delivered her out of the bondage of domestic abuse/violence and homeless, therefore she understands what abused women and homeless people goes through.
Dr. Hooks’ heart goes out to hurting people because she knows what it feels like to be abused, helpless, hopeless, and homeless. Dr. Hooks is passionate about helping the homeless, women of domestic violence and their children, divorced women, unwed teenage mothers, and teenage girls who has dropped out or been expelled from high school. Therefore, TLMF was formed out of Dr. Hooks' passion to help the hopeless by teaching them how they can live a successful life in society.
